  So I have just found out that Hotel Chelsea has been temporarily closed… I’ve never been to New York, not even close.  But it’s one place on earth my heart throbs for, and Hotel Chelsea being one of the very reasons why- and for obvious reasons.  Whatever the outcome, whether it be mere renovations or not, the spirit of the hotel and it’s legacy has died.  And I am so deeply sadden I’ve never gotten to visit.  This bums me out a great deal.
